It’s that time of the winter season. The Polar Bear Plunge is almost here! Not sure what that is? The polar bear plunge is an event held during the winter where participants get into freezing cold water for a good cause. They are usually held to raise money for charities.

The plunge is taking place at Sandy Point State Park. There will be a Cool Schools Plunge, a Police Plunge, a Corporate Plunge, and lastly, the Maryland Plunge. Keep your calendars marked for January 23rd through the 25th, as those are the days the 4 different plunges will take place. Register or donate for a chance to dive in soon!

Glen Burnie students, get your spirit on. Hopefully many of you will be getting involved in this opportunity. If you know for sure that you are going, make sure to stay warm and safe! Have fun!
