Cross Country Girls 2019

The varsity boys and girls cross-country teams competed at the 4A East Regional Championships at Centennial High School on Halloween!  Though the rain and storms held off for their races, the muddy steep hills were certainly a challenge for all!  We are proud of our Gophers for their strong performances here and all season!

The girls did not have enough runners to compete as a team, but they had many great runs! Saidai Stuteley finished first for the Gophers with a time of 21:24 and 34th overall.
The boys finished 10th overall in the last race of the day.  Shoutout to the team’s first boys finisher Sophomore Allen Edens, who crossed the finish line at 20:09, finishing 58th.
Thank you to Seniors Emily Chen, Jackson Hall, Isaiah Davis, and Saidai Stuteley for their dedication to our team!  Though our season is over, our team will be running at the Ripley Race in Annapolis on November 10th alongside of the Heroboys from Glendale Elementary.  Come out and support our Gophers and future Gophers!
